NAMAR Expo
Beth and I were privileged to be an exhibitor at the Northeast Atlanta Metro Association of Realtors Expo this week. It was a great networking event. We collected info on 175 potential referral sources. We received 3 leads and converted them all this week.
Just proves, in this day of Google, Search Engine Optimization and all things web based, the old fashioned human touch is still alive and well. Visit us at www.rpmgreateratlanta.com.

Sometimes things are not what they seem
If you've been in property management for a while, it's easy to be a bit jaded. Yesterday I was screening a tenant application and turned up a recent eviction in the public records search. Usually the screening process is over at that point as bad behavior tends to repeat itself.
In this case, something didn't make sense. The prospect was still living at the address attached to the eviction and I had gotten an excellent Landlord reference from the same apartment complex. Digging a little deeper I learned the apartment complex did not post the rent payment correctly one month and forwarded the issue to their legal department for the eviction process.
The tenant ignored the court notices, thinking it was a mistake, and the judge issued the writ of possession.
That's messed up.
